Blanca was lovely to chat with and a wonderful cook. We stayed as a family of four, and the hotel and rooms were very clean. The gardens were beautiful too. We'd be happy to come back to Copan.

From the balcony, the mountain view was breathtaking, with a lovely courtyard and garden below. We stayed in room C, which was spotless and had comfortable bedding, air conditioning, a roomy shower with warm water, and our own balcony facing the mountains. It was a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The owner was friendly and knew the area well, sharing ideas for places to eat and things to see in the city. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and it felt like a lot of care went into making guests comfortable. Hotel la Escalinata is a cozy, beautiful place in Copan Ruinas, and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable stay without spending too much.

We really liked our little balcony. Blanca was a wonderful hostess and even put together a small lunch when we had to leave before breakfast. The place has a cozy, family feel, and it's quiet up the hill from the town center, though only a few blocks away.
