Apartments Gorica Dubrovnik

Getting around was a hassle. It’s too far to walk to the city walls or catch a bus, and taxis may overcharge. The apartment wasn’t very clean, either. You also have to collect the keys from the staff at their downtown office. Since it’s a midsummer tourist destination, I suspect nearby places may be much the same.

Each morning there was a little yellow bag waiting on the terrace with breakfast items: bread, cold cuts, cheese, juice, jam, butter, honey, two pastries, sugar, tea and coffee. The staff were friendly and attentive, as you often find in Croatia. The apartments sit among the trees on the outskirts of the Old Town, about ten minutes away by Line 4. They’re spacious, clean and don’t feel very old. There are several sizes: the downstairs units are smaller, with terraces of around 15 square meters, while the upstairs ones are bigger, with terraces about 30 square meters. They’d probably cost a lot more if they were closer to the Old Town. I’d recommend them.

The neighborhood is quiet, and the large terrace has lovely views. The place is spacious, though the beds weren’t comfortable.

The agency that manages the apartments, Dominum, provided impeccable service. The place was comfortable and had everything well equipped.
