Seven Stars Accommodation Dubrovnik

I had a phenomenal stay and would book here again if I return to Dubrovnik. The location is hard to beat: about a three-minute walk to the walled city, with water views in a very quiet little neighborhood. The room suited me perfectly as a solo traveler. Another person could fit, but it would feel a bit cramped. These are rooms, not apartments, and they were listed as luxury ROOMS, so that matched what I expected. The shared hallway had coffee and other things, a nice touch. The room and the view were gorgeous, and it was so quiet. This was the perfect last stop on my month-long trip. I’d read reviews mentioning lots of stairs, but there’s a walkway past the wine museum down to the main road that avoids many of them. There are still stairs, just not as many as some reviews suggest. Since the units are self-serve, everything happens by phone or text, and they replied quickly. I did find it odd to get a message at 8 AM on checkout day asking whether I’d leave before or at checkout, which is 10 AM. That’s the earliest checkout I’ve had, but my flight was at noon, so it worked for me. They offered a pickup with their driver, reportedly cheaper than the €45 airport option, but I wasn’t sure of my plans and didn’t use it. I got a taxi through Uber for €19.20.

The location is perfect, but I ended up in a room without a view, even though I thought I’d booked one with a view. The room is small and there was no water in the fridge. Those stairs are brutal, and I don’t think I’d stay here again.

The AC worked really well, and the location is excellent. Just keep in mind it’s self-service, with no reception desk. If you’ll arrive before check-in and need to leave your luggage somewhere, tell them ahead of time. There’s no direct street-level access to the place, either. You’ll have to carry your bags up two flights to the building, then two more to your room. No elevator, so bear that in mind before booking.

The location is ideal, and our room at Seven Stars Accommodation was small but practical, with a gorgeous view of the old city. We had a very pleasant stay. The only minor drawback for us was the number of steps to get to the room.
