Good budget stay in Split, with shops nearby and bakeries not far off. The seaside and diocletian palace are about a 7-8 minute walk, and Sug Restaurant is close too. To find the place, walk toward the restaurant entrance and turn right. The room was clean and had free wi-fi, air conditioning, a fridge, wardrobe, bed, toilet, shower, kettle, two chairs and a table. Space in the room is a little tight. The stairs spiral, so hauling a suitcase upstairs can be difficult. The Dalmatia Sun responsible person explained everything over the phone and gave us the code for the room key.

The location was superb, easy to find and only five minutes from the centre, so it was good value. We stayed a week. The room was fine, though the floor and balcony weren’t very clean when we arrived.

A terrible B&B. There was no private parking, despite the website advertising it, and the view felt like looking into a shantytown. It was very expensive considering how few services were available, and it wasn’t clean.

The landlord was friendly and helpful. The apartment is small but clean, right in the old town, with a coffee maker, fridge, TV, private toilet and shower, and a terrace about as big as the room. There’s no way to cook.
