I traveled solo and was so glad I picked this place. It felt safe with the manager, who responded quickly and gave me space to enter the room at check-in instead of crowding me. The room was extremely clean, and you're close to everything while just outside the bustle. Historic sights and the market are about a five-minute walk away. Check-out is at 10a, which seems common in Split, since all three places I stayed had that policy. They stored my bags at reception, though nobody is there 24/7; at least it has a camera. There's also a full bathroom at reception, which is handy. I'd absolutely recommend staying here. A few small hassles: the light where a hotel key card would normally go flashes brightly all night, since the doors use regular keys. I blocked it with the black steamer bag and that worked. The hairdryer is old and cheap, like the ones in old-school hotels. An extension cord in the room would help, since the outlet was too far from the full-length mirror for me to curl my hair, and there are no bathroom outlets. PS, I took a picture of the gate to help people find the entrance. It's off the main road, not down the little alley. When Google says you've arrived, look up for the Stonemasons signs.

The location was great, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. There wasn't much storage, so we lived out of our suitcases, but that was no big deal for a couple of days.

The loft is worth avoiding if you've got lots of luggage or stairs are difficult. Otherwise, Stonemasons has been nicely renovated, with all the modern comforts, attentive hosts, and a peaceful, safe feel. It's very quiet, and only a short walk from the heart of Split or the esplanade. Definitely recommend it.

Everything, including the town and harbor, is within walking distance, which made our stay so convenient and comfortable. Our room looked stunning, with decor that felt really luxurious. Toma checked us in and was helpful and accommodating. The place isn't staffed, but they're only a text away. We had an amazing stay and thoroughly recommend it.

The location was great, and the contact person eventually sent local restaurant suggestions. The room was nicely decorated, but so small that two medium suitcases barely fit without getting in the way. The bathroom had updated stone finishes. Finding the place was the biggest headache, especially at night when the sign is hard to spot from the car. We got no entry instructions until we found their WhatsApp number. That connected us to some random company, and then we waited 30 minutes for the person in charge to reply with directions to a gate beside the building. There's no parking or easy place to pull over and unload. The best parking is a lot behind the building, reached by going around the block; it costs €1 per hour in the slow season, including October. There's no housekeeping or breakfast, and with no one at reception it feels more like an air bnb than a hotel. The internet was slow and unreliable, so it wasn't great for business travel.
