I was in a rush and could only stay one night, which was a shame. The welcome was really good, and she was friendly, attentive, and happy to share information. She deserves a raise!

This is a good option if you’re traveling alone or with other people and want to keep accommodation costs down. The shared rooms are pleasant, and the location puts you close to everything, about 10 minutes from both the historic center and the city beaches. The hostess was great and gave us plenty of tips for our time in the city.

We got a very friendly, welcoming reception from the host, who was glad to help. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable, though the mattress felt a bit too soft for me. There are two bathrooms, each with a toilet and shower. In the shared kitchen and living room, there’s a microwave, fridge, cutlery, coffee machine, and a vending machine with cold drinks and snacks. It’s clean, well located, and totally worth the very low price.

The hostel is cleaned every morning by the host, and it was very clean throughout my mid-May stay. My roommates were considerate, the host was lovely and suggested nearby attractions, and the prices were reasonable for what you get. The location sits between the bus station and the old town, which worked really well. A few small things: the windowless bathrooms can get stuffy, the room doors are loud, and open windows let in morning noise from the many cars going into the hospital opposite. If you’re sensitive to noise, bring earplugs.
