Manda Heritage Hotel

It was easy to walk from Manda Heritage Hotel to the festival venues, museums, parks, cafes, and restaurants. Before heading into the crowds at the Festival of Light, I could relax in the lounge, drink what I think is the best coffee in Zagreb, read quietly, or get work done with the super-fast internet. The staff were always kind and helpful, and even kept my luggage at reception after checkout so I could enjoy a few more slow, scenic hours around Zagreb before my flight. Check-in was already done before I arrived. My room smelled fresh, was spotless, and had a thoughtful treat waiting on the table, which made a tiring evening flight feel a bit better. I loved the careful design, from the spacious, comfortable bed and stylish sofa to the lamps, well-placed mirrors, soft towels, Rituals ‘Ritual of Mehr’ products, and the elegant drawer for the coffee capsules and tea bags. The room felt cozy and peaceful, like home from the first moment. I’m truly grateful to everyone at Manda Heritage Hotel for making the trip feel so special.

I loved the hotel, its staff, amenities, and location, and wish I could’ve stayed a couple more nights. The room was comfortable, with a big shower, comfy bed, and small refrigerator stocked with mineral and regular water. Mia checked me in, answered all my questions, and was very polite. Siniša helped me check out, and the whole front desk team was great. I went out around 7:30am for an hour, and my room had already been cleaned when I got back. Lanny, who seems to work in the small lounge and in housekeeping, deserves a special mention. Early in the morning she was welcoming and jamming to the Back Street Boys. She seemed happy to be there with us. I skipped the breakfast package, and Mia told me about the lounge: delicious coffee, different teas, cookies and biscuits, jams, and Nutella. There’s also a microwave if you want to eat in. Many places, including the outdoor market and churches, are only minutes away. Thanks for making me feel welcome.

A lovely boutique hotel with great service and a perfect central location. The comfortable two-bedroom apartment and little kitchen worked well for our family of 5. Parking could be a challenge, though there are plenty of spots on nearby streets if you don’t mind a short walk.

The staff were nice and always ready to help, but we didn’t find the stay comfortable. The apartment was cramped, with stairs inside, and the beds felt uncomfortable and seemed to fill the room right up against the walls, leaving hardly any space to walk. The living room looked out on a dirty area.
