The place was just as it looked in the photos and was very well equipped. It’s close to the metro station in a very safe neighbourhood. The host was simply amazing, and the whole experience was amazing from every point of view. One of the best accommodations I’ve ever booked.
The host took the time to show me around the apartment even in the dark. When we arrived, the whole area had no power, and the building had no backup system, so the lifts weren’t working either. There’s no key box, so you’ll probably need to arrive at a reasonable time to collect the keys from the host. The apartment is an old-time place in the Buda district, very spacious and able to fit at least 5 people. The Danube River is within walking distance, with an amazing view of the Hungarian parliament. There’s a parking space if you need one.
Great place, and the owner is lovely ☺️ I can only recommend it!
Gabriella was super helpful and attentive to everything we needed, and we had a great time. The apartment is bright, beautiful and comfortable. It’s in a fantastic location, within walking distance of the tourist attractions and very close to local supermarkets and pubs. There’s a reserved parking spot too, which is a plus in Budapest where all parking is paid. Highly recommended.
It’s spacious and has air conditioning, which helps with the heat on the top floor. The WiFi is available, but there’s no smart TV. Because of the noise, you need to keep the windows closed. The one downside is that there’s no shower.
