Getting to the transport hub was easy, with trams running 24/7 as well as buses and the metro. There’s a shopping mall next door and a street with cafés for late drinks and food about five minutes away. Even with all that nearby, the apartment was quiet at night, and we’d be delighted to return to Budapest and stay here again. The instructions for checking in and out were clear, and the agents communicated well. It’s a large, peaceful apartment with a great sense of space, plenty of storage, blackout curtains, fresh air when you open the windows, and a lovely balcony. The beds and linen were great, the lounge sofa bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was excellent, with a large fridge and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. Wheelchair access was good, with an elevator to the second floor, though you’ll need someone with you to get through the two heavy fire doors between the elevator and apartment entrance. We did run into a couple of issues: the shower head was broken and spun around, and water leaked out of the shower and across the bathroom floor for hours. The wifi details in the instructions didn’t work, so we had to pull out the router and use the network name and password printed on its back. We still highly recommend the place.

The rooms are spacious, the apartments are clean, and there’s a washing machine. It’s a great spot for tourists, with the metro close by and Corvin nearby too, where we found lots of good little cafés and a very good shopping centre. The apartment itself is simple but has what you need. You’re mostly coming back to sleep after walking around all day. I stayed for a week and would definitely return. It doesn’t have a coffee machine or jacuzzi, though you don’t really need those. Bolt taxis are all around, and the airport is about 18 minutes away.

A comfortable, very secure place to stay in the city.

We got no customer support, and the air conditioning didn’t work, despite the 300 EUR per night charge. I’d advise people to avoid this place. The instructions said to open the window to reduce humidity so the AC would start, but we tried that for 24 hours and nothing changed. Customers should be told that the AC is central and linked to other apartments, can’t be used below 23 degrees, and depends on opening and closing windows and adjusting humidity. That’s not what you expect when you press a button and assume it will work. The floor ventilator felt like a desperate attempt to justify the mess. I enjoyed Budapest, but the poor service and unclear descriptions of basic amenities left me feeling completely dissatisfied.
