Budapest Holidays Apartments & Spa

The apartment itself was a great base for exploring the city: spacious, modern, very well-equipped, and in a location where we could walk to everything. Booking.com made the reservation process smooth and hassle-free. The reception service was a serious problem throughout our stay. The desk belongs to the hotel in the same building, and the staff there were consistently rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to accommodate us. When we checked in and got the key card, we were told to leave the room by 10 AM on our last day. We were also assured we could keep our luggage in the hotel’s luggage room until our evening bus, with “no problem” being the exact phrase. But when we came to reception that day, staff said they knew nothing about the arrangement and refused to store our bags. We were left outside with all our luggage and a small child, dragging everything around until the bus left later that day. That broken promise and the lack of courtesy badly affected our final day. The apartment and location were excellent, but travelers should be aware of the frustrating service and the unfulfilled offer to store luggage.
