Getting around from the apartment was easy, with the centre close by in every direction. We really liked the place. We were on the third floor, though, and the lift was out of order for three days, so that meant 99 steps every time we went out or came back 😊
The staff were kind and helpful, and the place was clean. I had a great stay.
I gave it three stars mostly because of where it is. The metro is right across the road, and there are lovely bakeries and pubs nearby. The room looked good, but it was missing a few handy basics: a tea towel for drying dishes and a rack for clothes. We also had to buy a whole pack of washing tablets just to run one load. In the shower, the water pressure was poor and there was nowhere to put my things. The floor was grimy and clearly needed mopping.
The staff were so friendly and even let us check in earlier than planned. After checkout, they also kept our luggage for us, which was a big help while we waited for our flight. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. It was really cheap, so I couldn't believe how nice it was for the price. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Budapest.
The location was really good, but the bed was awful.
