Casati Hotel – Adults Only

The service made our stay at the Casati Budapest Hotel feel special. Tunde greeted us when we arrived, and Attila looked after us in the evening and at night, almost like our own concierge. Everyone went out of their way to help. The rooms had a wonderfully eclectic feel, and breakfast was lovely too. It was a five-star experience for us, and I can’t wait to return.

The hotel was immaculate from top to bottom, and it’s in a very good spot for exploring the city. We used the sauna every day and really liked it and the space around it. The staff were all welcoming, friendly, and lovely. I’ve never had that home-away-from-home feeling on a trip before, but I did here.

There’s construction next door, though it didn’t happen on weekends or in the evenings. I’d suggest asking for a courtyard-facing room. This is a cozy, distinctive boutique hotel with 25 rooms, just one block from the Opera house and an easy 20-minute walk from the river. There are plenty of bars and places to eat nearby. Our modern room was very spacious, with a coffee maker, hair dryer, mini fridge, toiletries, pillow menu, desk and chair, safe, and bedside USB charging ports. Breakfast had a good range of buffet choices plus a small à la carte menu. The coffee bar near the lobby stays open 24 hours. Tuktuk bar is right beside the hotel, and there’s a small gym and sauna on the bottom floor.

We found the atmosphere calm and relaxing, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. The room was clean and well equipped, while the hotel itself has a refined, high-quality feel and an excellent location. The bathroom could perhaps be a little bigger.
