Comfort Apartments

The location was excellent, and getting answers to my questions was always quick. The late check-in directions were clear too. There’s plenty of room and everything you might need for a short or longer stay, including a dishwasher and washing machine. My one real issue was the very hard, uncomfortable bed.

We stayed in the B building, and the apartment was really clean, with a comfortable bed, AC, and plenty of useful things like a washing machine, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, and iron. I’d been nervous after reading reviews, but ours seemed to be a newer apartment. The area is close to public transport and within walking distance of bars and restaurants, while still quiet enough to rest. We arrived at 2 am and got clear instructions for entry even though reception was closed.

The apartment was a bit dated, but clean, with a comfortable bed. The shower pressure was weak, though it still did the job, and the AC was a real help during the heat wave. We were there for four days and found the location handy for Budapest’s main sights, with shops and restaurants nearby. I’d stay again.

There was enough room for our family of five, and Pest’s busy areas weren’t far away, but I wouldn’t book this for a family trip again. The street noise was awful: glass bins were emptied at 5:30 every morning, and cars and people were loud late at night. We were there at the end of July in hot weather, so keeping the windows shut made sleep difficult. The AC was said to be free, but we had to pay for the remote. The TV didn’t work, the toilet was broken, and the fridge smelled of old sausages. The promised gym stayed closed the whole time. The man at reception seemed angry, spoke no English, and didn’t help. There were lots of groups there for stag parties, so maybe it suits that sort of visit.
