Corvin Holiday Apartment Hotel

My friends and I booked several rooms for the 2026 UEFA Champions League Final, and the hotel has just cancelled all of our accommodation. I can see it still has availability, but the prices have trebled. What a surprise. This place is very dishonest!

The beds in the units I stayed in were hard as rocks. At night, lots of people hang around drinking, and the area isn’t very walkable, especially after dark. There are newer buildings, and useful places like a grocery shop and café nearby. The apartments are part of a city block. But finding the office was confusing, with no instructions for using the intercom. Once we figured it out, the office was a mess, with a doorless oven being used for storage. Our first-level room had no AC, so we switched rooms. There weren’t any check-out instructions either. If you’re leaving early, you can’t get into the building to return the keys. There’s a key drop, but only if someone happens to come out and let you in.

We told the hotel ahead of time that we’d arrive late, but they still tried to charge us extra and then refused to let us in. We were left outside at night without help and had to find somewhere else at the last minute. No refund, and the staff were rude. A terrible experience. Avoid this place. It felt completely dishonest and unprofessional.

Cleanliness was below a satisfactory level. The staff were friendly, but their English was poor. Parking costs 20EUR per night.
