The shower flooded every day because its gasket was missing, and the room smelled of sewage. The towels were like sandpaper, the bed felt as soft as fresh waste, and the walls and curtains had stains that gave the place a real mystery vibe. Reception was impossible to reach unless you enjoy useless SMS, and finding the parking was a treasure hunt. If frustration, grime, and sewage scented air sound like your idea of paradise, book here. Forget theme parks, this is the adventure.

A phone by the room door kept buzzing at random, even overnight. Reception seemed baffled when we asked about it and eventually told us to unplug it and leave it hanging. That stopped the noise, but it was a strange, disruptive problem we shouldn't have had to solve ourselves. The room looked clean at first glance, but the corners and cracks along the skirting boards clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. Parking was also disorganized. We paid in advance and got an assigned space, but if someone else was using it, we were simply told to find another one. At check-in, nobody explained basics like the WiFi or air conditioning. We had to go back to reception to ask, and the receptionist seemed disengaged and unprofessional, with little help or explanation. When we asked for the AC remote, we were told it cost an extra €10 per night. That charge hadn't been clear when booking, as it was tucked into a listing's 'read more' section. If you filter for a place with AC, you'd reasonably expect to have it included. Extra parking fees are common enough to expect, but charging separately for AC this way felt misleading. Poor communication, unexpected costs, and the lack of professionalism made the stay frustrating. Better organization and clearer information could have prevented a lot of these issues.

We only had 24 hours in Budapest, which was a shame, because I'd happily stay here again when I return. The apartment was bright, spacious, and well placed for getting to Parliament and Ferenc Deak Square quickly. Several bus and tram lines were just meters away, and the line 4 metro stop was an 8-10 minute walk. There was a supermarket nearby too, and the neighborhood stayed quiet despite all the traffic and public transport. Reception staff were very friendly and helped us with everything. Definitely recommend it.

The staff were friendly and so helpful, and we loved the apartment's location for restaurants and a more authentic experience. We were really pleased with our stay. It was perfect, and we'd stay again and recommend it.
