The kitchen was dirty and smelled bad, and the host was the worst I've dealt with. She took a long time to reply to our messages, but when we were slow to respond, she tried to charge us 35.000huf because we accidentally spilled 20cl of water on the bed. She also claimed that we'd urinated there.
It's a small hostel, and the organization could be better. For the same price, there are better options in Budapest, though the location is good, so I'd give it 3 stars. It wasn't that bad overall.
The owner is very nice, the rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are clean. The location is good too. It can get quite noisy because sound echoes through the rooms. You have to leave the windows open since there's no fan or air conditioning.
Such a cosy, peaceful place, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Luksa and Virag!
