Kato Privat Apartment

You can walk to the Danube and other sights in about half an hour from this very central apartment. It's compact, but worked perfectly for two of us spending the day out sightseeing. It was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the owners greeted us with a bottle of local wine. We also had all the useful basics, from kitchen gear and towels to toiletries, coffee, tea, and an iron. Parking takes a bit of planning. On the street, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, you pay in three-hour intervals. It's 350 ft£ per hour, and the coin machine doesn't give change. A 24-hour multi-storey car park is two streets away and costs 500 ft£ an hour.
