Krisco Apartments

The bed was genuinely comfortable, and the location was great. Apart from those two things, the place was awful. I arrived tired and initially enjoyed it, so I didn’t notice how bad the conditions were. The floor looked as if it had never been swept, the furniture was dirty, and the walls looked like people had wiped their hands on them after eating. The bathroom was dirty and smelled horrible. The towels smelled like they were growing mold. The TV in the open space didn’t work properly, and the shower’s sliding door was broken. At one in the morning, the girl who gave us the key came under my window with some guy. They talked and laughed loudly, so I couldn’t sleep. After I closed the windows, she “accidentally” rang the bell. If your expectations are low, this place may suit you. But if you want the conditions to match what you pay, I strongly recommend going somewhere else.

There’s no reception, but the host was very nice and available whenever we needed them. The apartments are in a regular residential building with an elevator, and they were clean and modern. The price was more than fair for what you get, so it seems a good fit for tourists and backpackers.

The photos in the description looked like they were taken about eight years ago, when everything was new. Now it’s old and dirty. There was food left on the floor and in one of the beds. The bedroom AC worked, but it was dirty, and the bathroom was dirty too. Two towels were dirty and smelly. The front door lock was broken. Some thief had been in that room about a week earlier. It was very disappointing. The bed was so noisy that my family didn’t sleep well, and it was loud outside too.

I thought we’d booked a regular apartment to rent, but stepping inside completely changed my mind. The chandeliers and carpets were beautiful, and the beds were nice. My family and I absolutely loved it. Definitely worth trying!
