The bathroom was in good shape, but the rest of the place felt pretty worn down. My room had what looked like secondhand furniture, and there wasn't a safe in it, though other rooms seemed to have one. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel, and I wouldn't describe it as accessible for people with disabilities. You can find somewhere better for about the same price nearby.

The location is very good, but the staff and housekeeping left a terrible impression. The cleaners were rude in the halls and never even greeted us. In the mornings they sat outside the rooms by the towel supplies, shouting and laughing, without seeming to care that people might still be asleep. The place was also kept very dirty. We put the door hanger out asking for the room to be cleaned. When we got back, it had been tossed on the floor. All they'd done was leave toilet paper and milk for the coffee machine, which we didn't need, and they had left the door open. Then, as we were checking out, we realized a pair of brown trousers was missing. We spent the day looking and asked both reception and the cleaners, but nobody responded or tried to help. Very poor service, and the staff really undermine what could have been a good hotel.

It's good value and has what you need, though it's not a particularly plush hotel. The location is excellent. The building can seem strange when you first arrive, but the check-in directions help once you've got them. The elevator might be uncomfortable if you have claustrophobia.

The room was okay, though there were a few annoying things. No bottled water was supplied, just water in a jug, and we couldn't tell whether it was fresh or tap water, so we left it alone. The TV didn't work, and at night we had to cover a light with a blanket. The shower gel came off the wall and broke, while even a small bump to the bathroom shelf sent things falling. The walls could use a better clean. Finding the hotel was a real struggle. We only located it because another review said it was between a change and a pizza shop, and the website could explain the route much better. Once found, the grand Budapest building and its location made it easy for us to see everything. We hadn't realized a hostel shares the building. We didn't hear it, but it's something to know. The hotel rooms are scattered around the building beside other people's apartments, which I wasn't comfortable with. I went back and forth between a 3 and a 4, since 3 feels a little harsh and 4 seems too generous.
