I really enjoyed staying here, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Danube is just a five minute walk away, with a perfect view of parliament. Public transport is very efficient: it's 5 minutes to buda castle and 15 minutes to the cathedral.

Budapest is magnificent! The staff were helpful, and breakfast was normal. My room wasn't very clean, but it was spacious, with a wonderful terrace and a bathroom that had everything needed. I was especially pleased to have a heated towel rail.

The room was okay, though the bathroom ceiling and mirror were stained. During the last few days, the water turned ice cold, with no warm water at all. Breakfast was limited, especially on Christmas Day, and the coffee machine wasn’t working. There was no hot chocolate either. It was an okay place to stay.

The room was cold throughout our stay. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the few little portable heaters they brought barely helped. We were three, but the room was set up for two, including the towels and glasses, and there were no slippers. For a 4-star hotel, that felt like a basic thing to provide. At the restaurant, staff were rude and disruptive, moving chairs around and shouting in their own language while guests were eating. They also cleared our plates without checking whether we were finished. It all came across as careless and disrespectful. This didn’t feel like a 4-star stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The breakfast was lovely, and the service team were consistently polite and helpful. The hotel was comfortable and very nice, just two minutes from the Danube promenade. Thanks for a pleasant stay ♡
