The condo was even better than we expected, exceptionally clean and set up with all we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen. The attention to detail stood out as soon as we walked in, and it really felt like a home away from home. The property managers gave us a warm welcome and check-in was quick and easy. The place matched the pictures exactly and looks directly onto the Ferris Wheel at Erzsebet Square (Budapest Eye), so the location was fantastic.

Getting the cash they required upfront meant a trip to the bank. We'd been told cards were accepted, but they had no credit or debit card facility. The apartment itself was modern, with nice rooms, a beautiful view, and good Wi-Fi. TV reception was poor and kept breaking up while we tried to watch the news. The stairwell and lift area looked very old and run down, and had a very offensive smell.

The square outside is being worked on, and the noise starts early, so forget about a lie-in. That's the only issue, and it's outside their control. The apartment was great, and Vicky was a fantastic host who couldn't have done more for us.

The apartment was bright and spacious, right in the center. Betty, the owner, was friendly and helped us pick the best places in the city. We're absolutely delighted with the city. A big hug to her!
