The staff were the only thing this filthy, run-down place had going for it. Our week cost $408 Australian, which felt like a rip-off. Champlung mas would have cost $280 for the week and is clean. Avoid this horrible dump. We booked a pool access room, but there was mould across the ceiling and bathroom, chipped bathroom tiles, a stained toilet that needed bleach, and grey, smelly towels. The air con leaked and was never fixed. The pool was dirty and sandy; I got itchy after swimming, and when I got back to Perth a doctor diagnosed me with swimmers itch, a reaction to a bug in the dirty pool. They tried to charge us $25 Australian for a chipped coffee cup. Reception also called to say a teaspoon was missing and wanted $2.50, though the room had three spoons when we arrived and they were all there when we left. Breakfast was extremely basic and not very nice, which explains why nobody was there.

Lovely, clean place with comfy beds and a good pool. The staff are so nice, and the area is quiet but close to a lot of things, or just a quick scooter ride to Seminyak or Kuta. It's basic, but has what you need, and the price is really good. Highly recommend. I'd definitely stay again.

The pool was nice and never too busy, and the staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were nice but simple. The food at the bar was average, and the location felt odd. At night I felt a little unsafe walking along the long, dark road to the Main Street. On the first night they put me in a room with two single beds and wouldn't move me until the next day. That room also had no balcony door handle, so I couldn't open it. The next day they switched my room. The shower flooded the bathroom whenever I used it, though the water pressure was alright. There was a small balcony but no chairs, and the wifi dropped out now and then. Still, I'd stay again because it was cheap. Thank you.

Good value for a budget stay. The hotel is just off the busy streets, near Garlic Lane and the beach. Our spacious room was right by the pool, which worked well. Breakfast comes in American or Asian options, and both were good. The bathroom is a bit dated, but that's common across Bali.
