Bali Sandy Resort

The bathrooms could use a little updating, though they were still very clean. We had a fantastic week here. The staff were fabulous, courteous, and helpful, and the pool was easily the best part. The food was great too, especially for the price. Highly recommend.

The staff were nice, the location was good, and breakfast was decent with some variety each day. But the sheets were dirty every time, with multiple stains, even though someone came to clean the room daily. Sleeping in them felt disgusting. The hotel is old and needs maintenance. The toilet leaked, and when it rained outside, water came through the bathroom ceiling.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself needs renovation. Our room and toilet were dirty, the lighting was dim, a lamp was broken, and there were cockroaches in the room. There are plenty of better places to stay in Kuta. I wouldn’t recommend this one.

The pool was nice, and the ground floor had a pleasant terrace. Rooms were simple and clean, with air conditioning; the bathrooms were simple too. Staff were friendly, and the higher floors have large balconies. It’s a six-minute walk to the beach. Breakfast was poor, with a few eggs or some hot food, toast, and fruit, and not much to choose from. Still, I’ve stayed in worse places. For the price, it’s a decent budget option.
