Courtyard By Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort

Akbar at the front desk was especially kind, and the whole team made us feel welcome. Chris, the GM, clearly runs a strong property with friendly staff and spectacular service. We liked that the Marriott resort felt lovely without being too bougey, and it was nothing like the Courtyards in the U.S. The pool was great, the service there was very good, and the food was excellent without being overpriced. Breakfast was delicious, with staff going out of their way to help. They even had soft serve ice cream at the buffet. Dinner was excellent too, and Yogi took great care of us. Our room was comfortable, with a nice bed, a big shower, English-speaking TV channels and Netflix. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.

The one thing I’d change is adding a dedicated adults-only pool where the pool bar is. At times, all the pools can feel like a kindergarten pool, with children running around. Aside from that, our stay at Courtyard by Marriott Seminyak was fantastic. The staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to help from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the hotel and facilities were very clean. The pool and common areas were relaxing and well kept. Food was consistently very good in the restaurant and through room service, fresh, nicely presented, and brought promptly. It’s a well-run hotel, and we’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Seminyak.

I’m on my second day at Sofitel in Nusa Dua now, and I already miss that place. 🥹✨ The resort was beautifully maintained, in a perfect location, and the pool and water quality were excellent. More than anything, every staff member was so kind and welcoming. Breakfast didn’t have a huge menu, but it covered what you need, and everything tasted delicious.

Breakfast is one of the best parts of this lovely resort. I especially enjoyed the soup station and the broad choice of local and international dishes each morning, all delicious. I also spent an afternoon at the pool bar with a couple of cocktails, enjoying the fun atmosphere and especially the lively foam party. This was my third stay, and the resort came through again. I was given a recently renovated room that was beautiful, spotless, quiet, and comfortable.
