Jati Cottages

The homemade gnocchi at the on-site restaurant was a real highlight, and breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and full of flavor. All the meals I had were delicious. The staff were warm and kind throughout, and their hospitality made the stay feel special. The hotel was an ideal mix of quiet and convenient. Near Jalan Sukma and Peliatan, it was still peaceful, with warungs, laundry services, restaurants, and cafés within walking distance. I liked being close to Ubud’s attractions while staying away from the crowds near the Palace. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and well maintained. I spent most of my time relaxing on the property. One thing to keep in mind is that walking around Ubud can be difficult if you’re not used to Southeast Asian traffic and street conditions. Local transport may suit visitors who aren’t comfortable crossing busy roads. Even though it was close to the town center, the place felt quiet and restorative. The thoughtful service and peaceful atmosphere made this one of my favorite stays in Ubud. I’m deeply grateful to everyone there. It’s a cherished memory, and I’d love to return.

During Kuningan, I got to see Trina and Dewa offering prayers throughout the hotel early in the morning. They also kindly lent me a kebaya so I could visit a nearby temple. I’m truly grateful for that experience, and it’s become a lovely memory. I spent most of my time relaxing at the property, which suited me perfectly. The hotel was quiet despite being near Ubud’s center, within walking distance of Jalan Sukma and Peliatan. There’s a laundry and some great local warungs nearby. I’d love to stay here again.

We were so comfortable and happy here that we ended up extending our stay. The people at Jati Cottage were so warm, I’ll carry that feeling with me. The room was spotless, and the location gave us peace while keeping us close to good restaurants and cafés, away from the Palace and the busy center. The restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and super tasty, and the homemade gnocchi were spectacular. You have to try them! Thanks to the whole team for making our time in Ubud so special.

My partner loved the welcome juice, and the Jati team gave us lucky charm bracelets as souvenirs when we were leaving. The staff were really attentive, the room was comfortable and spacious, and the location was great. The price was affordable, too. Everything was AMAZING, and better in person than in the photos. I’d put this on my list for my next trip to Ubud.
