Sari Bunga Hotel

The rooms are spacious and clean, with great bathrooms and showers. I also liked having a balcony to sit on. The service was excellent and friendly, and all the staff were lovely. The pool was refreshing and cleaned throughout the day, though the chlorine seemed high and stung the kids a little. Breakfast was fine, and the restaurant's pizza was delicious. The main thing I’d change is the building exterior, which needs a good clean. There was a lot of dirt on the outside walls, especially by the stairs, and mouse droppings stayed on the stair railings the whole time we were there. Even with those issues, the positives outweigh the negatives. Sari Bunga is a great base for a reasonable price, and we’d stay again.

The staff are the best, and there are great places to eat all around. The beach is just a two-minute walk away, and the prices are very good. I’ve stayed three times already and have three more bookings over the next 12 months. My favourite place to stay in Bali. No need to look elsewhere.

We’ve been coming back for 23 years, and the staff are still amazing, including some of the same people from back then. It’s a simple place, not a five-star hotel, but it’s clean, has lovely gardens and great food. The rooms work perfectly for our group of five. An amazing place.

The location is convenient, with beaches, shops, cafes, restaurants, and massage parlors next to the hotel. It’s become popular enough that when I tried to book for August-September 2024, I could only get 11 days instead of the 15 I wanted. The price had also risen by 50 percent since the beginning of the year. I’ve stayed here four times, and the staff are always wonderful. The pool is always clean, and the rooms are very large, with big beds and elastic mattresses that may be orthopedic. The hotel had a major renovation last year: the shower rooms were redone, the plumbing is new, some furniture was replaced, some planning was done, and the communal plant garden was improved. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day, the linen is fresh, and the air conditioners work well. There’s a refrigerator, electric kettle, and fresh bottled water and soap in the shower daily. Wi-Fi quality improved significantly in February 2024, and now works well in the rooms and throughout the hotel. My main disappointment is breakfast. The menu has been almost the same for five years, though it may suit people who aren’t fussy. I’d comfortably give this hotel four stars. It’s too underrated.
