For $25 Australian a night, this place is good value, and I think the low reviews are unfair. It’s a little dated, and I wouldn’t call it four-star, so maybe some guests expect too much. But the staff are warm and friendly, the air conditioning is quiet and powerful, and the water pressure is strong. The bed is large and very comfortable, the pool is a lovely size, and the location is fantastic. I’d recommend it to solo travelers or families on a budget.

There were baby roaches and black worms on the shower floor. Service was fine, considering it’s Bali, and the complimentary items were fair enough. Breakfast was a real feast for me, with a pretty good variety and most of the food tasting good. I really wanted the steamed rice, but it was so sticky it was like liquid paper glue. The toaster was full of burnt-on bread, so I skipped the toast.

The pool water was very clean, and so was our room. We had a wonderful two-night stay at an incredibly beautiful hotel, probably the nicest I’ve ever been to. Everyone on staff we met was friendly and very attentive. ❤️

The rooms are modern, and breakfast had an awesome spread. This is a new property with a small but cordial staff who listen to your requests. Had a great stay, would recommend it 100%.

We booked two rooms and waited about an hour and a half at check-in before they were ready. In the end, though, they upgraded one of the rooms to a higher class as a complimentary gesture.
