The location is a strong point, and the building has potential, but maintenance is the one thing this property has let slip. I've stayed in a similar kind of building in Malang that was looked after well, and it made for a comfortable hotel with much better reviews. Here, I found a cockroach when I entered the room, an unpleasant smell in the hallway, no hot water, a torn blanket, and an AC that didn't work. Luckily, it was raining in Bandung. I hope they take better care of the place and make use of the advantages they have.

We stayed here in January 2023 because it was near where I needed to be. The room didn't smell bad, and mine had hot water, though apparently not all rooms do. But the place was very dirty, there was no room cleaning service, and the rooms felt old and run down. The air conditioner couldn't cool the room. We've stayed here before, and it was much worse this time. I checked out early because of the condition, but didn't get our fee back. There were much better options nearby for a similar price. It was disappointing to see how the place is now, and we won't return unless it gets major improvements.

For about Rp 250.000, you get a really good room at a cheap price. I wasn't sure the rate was real at first, but it was. One catch: rooms booked online don't come with a water heater. If you're lucky, the receptionist can help you upgrade.

It's an old place, but still cozy enough. The room was so-so, with very few electrical outlets, and the food was average. You can order a sip of bandrex, though, which I'd recommend. The room key is still a regular key, not a key card.
