Moritz and the others made us feel very welcome. They were friendly and sweet, and the room was basic, clean, and had everything we needed. Downstairs is a comfortable place to work late, with people always hanging out there. Moritz has traveled a lot around Indonesia and had plenty of useful advice. The breakfast was fabulous too.
We had a great stay there again, after some trouble getting in touch and finally booking by email. This was in early 2020, at the start of the COVID pandemic. When we left, water was leaking badly from the shower, and I’m not sure whether it was properly fixed. It’s also hard to tell now if they’re still operating. For a low budget, it’s a great place for travelers who just need a good room. The top floor rooms are best, and the other guests were lovely. We felt like a family together. Hope I can stay there again soon!
A good budget option for backpackers right in central Bandung, just a few minutes’ walk from Pasar Baru. Don’t expect much: there’s no air conditioning, only a fan, though they do provide a simple breakfast.
A lovely homestay for backpackers. They renovated the lobby and rooms two years ago and added a rooftop garden, so the place feels new, fresh, and stylish. The same nice staff are still there. This was my best stay while backpacking in Bandung. Thanks to neo Moritz.
The room smelled bad, according to all the guests, and we think the bedding and other linens may not have been changed. It was pretty cheap after the discount, but one staff member said something a little impolite. You can use the internet downstairs, though.
