The counter staff were polite and quickly helped us move rooms, so I’d give the service 5 stars. The hotel itself looked bright and clean, and the room’s cleanliness was above average. Still, anyone concerned about safety should think twice: none of the rooms had a safe or an inside latch or lock. It took about 10 minutes for the hot water to come on, and the bathroom towels were rough as sandpaper. I don’t think they’ve ever heard of fabric softener.
This was my second stay. The room seemed clean and was just right for me, but the heater failed on both visits, so be warned if you’re coming in the rainy season: there’s no hot water. The area is full of pubs and bars, which makes it noisy at night and quiet during the day.
The rooms were tidy, and the room service and reception staff were very hospitable. I enjoyed the stay, especially for such an affordable price.
It’s right in the middle of the area, and Audi at reception is a cool guy. But my recent visit was horrible. The room wasn’t cleaned at all. Even after I asked, they only collected the key and never cleaned it. Dust ruined all my things, especially my clothes.
I came at noon to ask about checking in early, but they told me to return at 2pm because the room was still being cleaned. When I came back at 9pm, they said there was no room for me because they’d overbooked. They refused to refund me and offered only another hotel costing less than half their room price. Other hotels were fully booked, so I had no choice but to accept. They arranged transport, but getting to the other hotel took another hour. By the time we arrived, it was nearly midnight. Enough is enough!
