Sorry, but this is the dirtiest hotel in Batu Karas. It's super dirty, with facilities that aren't maintained, hot AC, dirty water, rusty things, and a dusty table. Please do better, especially with such a prime location.

It's close to the Reef Surfbreak and has AC and warm water. The houses are close together, so it feels a bit squeezed, but that shouldn't be a problem outside high season. I don't agree with the bad reviews. For the price, it's really okay.
There was flooding in the room and mosquitoes. The hot water, amenities, and cleanliness were all lacking. We also had no electricity from 11.30pm until 5am.
I believe this place is a scam. If you book through an online platform, the receptionist will turn you away and ask you to pay the offline price. They claim there's no connection between them and the platforms. I believed that explanation years ago, but the online booking is still available. Surely management would have contacted the platform and fixed this by now? The negative reviews are right on the mark.
We stayed the two nights we'd booked, then ran off to Villa Monyet, which we loved. The rooms didn't feel clean and needed a facelift. The shower only had cold water, and there was no hand soap or toilet paper. When we asked for toilet paper, we were told, "this is Indonesia," which felt odd since even the trains in Java have toilet paper, lol. We can see how this place could have been a really nice hotel, but the staff seem to let it decay. It's a shame, because both the outside area and the room could look so much better.
