The staff made our vacation. Annie knew by the third day that I wanted hot tea before breakfast, and everyone made a point of learning our names and noticing what we liked. Odek was amazing all week. She arranged a special dinner, looked after every guest that week, then sang and danced with us when our group went to the bar afterward. Wiz was also great and fun, helped us exchange currency, and arranged with Odek to have a suckling pig delivered. Yogi and Adot handled all our transport. We felt so well looked after every day. The Golden Buddha in Amed is lovely. Each cottage opens onto the beautiful pool, which we enjoyed seeing every morning. The outdoor shower was comfortable and unusual, the AC worked well, and the firm bed and crisp linens were comfy. Cottage stays are only available through fundraising events. If Golden Buddha comes up at another fundraiser, we’ll bid again. I really hope we get to return.

Odek, Annie, Wiz, and all the staff were so helpful, and we really enjoyed spending time with our driver, Adot. We loved our stay at Golden Buddha. For a great honeymoon experience, I’d recommend the cooking class there and snorkelling at Lipah beach. We’re so thankful for the whole experience.

The staff made The Golden Buddha in Amed feel like home. They helped arrange our daily outings so everything went smoothly and we felt safe, and their guidance gave us a rich experience of Balinese culture that we’ll always treasure. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and a great place to unwind after exploring. Our stay was unforgettable. For warmth, hospitality, and a little luxury in Amed, I’d highly recommend it.

Golden Buddha Cottages was peaceful and relaxing, with lovely cottages and spectacular massages on site. The staff were the best part, going above and beyond every day to help us experience Bali. They’re lovely people, and we miss them.

The rooms are spacious, and we comfortably fit three adults. The facilities were clean and nice, with good restaurants within walking distance. Amed is focused on diving, and many of Bali’s famous attractions are a long drive away. It’s also quite a drive from the airport. Still, once you get there, you’ll love it. We had an amazing week at the Golden Buddha, and by the end the phenomenal staff felt like friends. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.
