Pondok DD Canggu

It was quiet and peaceful, which I loved, and everything I needed was within walking distance. The hosts were so warm and kind, and I felt safe. For my first solo trip abroad, this cozy, clean place felt like a home away from home. I’d 1000000% stay again on my next visit to Canggu!

We stayed for two weeks, and the place felt intimate, with beautiful gardens and a well-kept modern pool. The rooms were very clean and tidied every day. Staff were friendly and helpful with things like scooter hire, without trying to rip you off. The location is great too. I think we paid around $45aud per night. Highly recommend.

There was barely any staff around during the day, and when I arrived at 8pm nobody was at reception to help. I had to ask different neighbors in the street until I found the owner, which felt a bit surreal. I’m giving two stars instead of one because the staff were at least friendly. The price didn’t feel justified, not even half of it. The walls were damp, the towels stained, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

A really nice, clean place with lovely owners and a great location. If you stay, please give the friendly white dog some food or love. Her name is whitey, and she hangs around the house. If you have spare food, she’d really appreciate some. She also likes sleeping on the welcome Matt, so leave it outside your room for her if you have one :)
