The staff are friendly.

I came hoping to relax and ended up with a headache. The room was filthy, dusty, and covered in cobwebs, and room service never showed up after I called. Someone even tried to spy on me. Bad experience, and I'll never stay here again. Worst villa I've ever been to.

The service was poor, with an hour's wait before someone came after I called. The room was extremely dirty, as if it hadn't been cleaned, the bathroom had no water, and there were lots of insects. This place felt more abandoned than like a villa. Come here and you may regret it.

The rooms were tidy and clean, and the hosts were so welcoming. I felt at home by the large, crystal-clear pool and didn't want to leave. The quiet greenery, river and rice paddy views, and morning birdsong brought Ubud's countryside to mind. The beach is only a five-minute motorcycle ride away, with bars, restaurants, food stalls, and minimarkets along the road to the villa. We mostly stayed in and ordered through GoFood. Our stay at Villa Brata was memorable, and if we return to Bali, we'll definitely stay here again.
