I last visited Pondok PGI about 7 years ago, and it's improved so much since then. The rooms were clean, simple, and comfortable enough to rest in after a full day of activities. I also appreciated the water dispenser for guests. Our group brought tumblers, so we didn't use any plastic bottles. We like doing our part for the planet, and it was nice to see Pondok PGI supporting that. The Indonesian dishes were delicious, full of comforting local flavor, and I loved them all. Thanks, Pondok PGI. I hope to come back someday with new stories and the same spirit 🌿

The food was delicious, the one thing I appreciated. But there was dust all over the bed, and even ants. Moss was coming out of the sink too. I woke up stressed.

From the second floor, the view is stunning, and the location is great, not too far from cimory mountain view. But our room was small and not clean. At check-in, there was sand and ants in the toilet, probably coming from the wooden door. The wooden floor was a bit damaged, and there were spiderwebs in and on the wardrobe. Breakfast was just nasi goreng, telur, and ice tea. The pool was a bit dirty, and we didn't swim. It was quite cold too.

It's close to Cimory Mountain View, and the pool with its beautiful scenery was a definite plus. The main building seemed kind of old, but everything in our bedroom worked fine. Breakfast was nice enough, not great but passable. A nice place for a short stay.

The pool area had beautiful scenery, though the water was kind of dirty. We stayed in a cottage for a really cheap rate, IDR 700.000 for 4 persons. It had a dining table and a watching lounge, but only one bathroom inside and no kitchen. It was considerably clean. Breakfast was included, but the menu was limited. On my last stay, I only got a la carte fried rice per person. Facilities include a swimming pool, basketball court, and meeting room.
