A really great place to stay, with everything you need. You can walk to the mall and some lovely local warungs, and there are interesting people living there.

The place itself is nice and well located, but it’s clear that proper cleaning isn’t being done. I booked because of the good reviews and found hairs in the toilet and on the pillow, plus stains on the sheet. I asked to change rooms. After 40 minutes of telling them, they moved me, but the second room was in the same condition, if not worse. There were dirty plates, a ball of hair in the sink, and the shower had only been given a low-effort clean. You could tell things hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. The sheets in that room were stained too. When I told them, they said, “just contact airbnb.” I’m leaving the less disgusting pictures here.

We spent a month here and had a good experience. Staff could clean the room and replace the towels once a week, and the pool was right outside. We brought a camping stove and other things, so never used the shared kitchen. The staff and neighbors were nice, and it was a relaxing spot near a convenience store, pharmacy, and beach. Car parking is limited to one space, but our neighbors had bikes, so we were able to use it.

It was so peaceful that I slept like a baby, and the green garden was lovely to look at. The room was large, with a handy fridge, and there’s a shared kitchen if you want to cook. The pool is clean and deep enough for swimming and exercise, and it’s right nearby for a morning dip. Cafes and a local fruit market are also an easy walk away.
