OYO 2123 Sun Residence

We arrived around midnight, and the staff were willing to wait for us and were very helpful at check-in. The sitting space outside the room was lovely. The property is clean and comfortable, tucked into a quiet neighborhood even though it's near main roads.

The staff were cooperative and the service was good. For security, I think they need someone in charge each day and night. The lobby door should also have a key lock, especially in the evening, so only guests with their own room keys can open it. Otherwise, people from outside could come and go while guests are asleep, which isn't good for everyone.

I stayed during the pandemic in March 2021. The property is also listed as OYO 2123 Sun Residence on Google Maps. The room was very spacious for the price, and I liked the bathroom's natural pebble flooring. It was a fairly new place with modern furniture, a desk and workspace, a refrigerator, plenty of surfaces for belongings, and tasteful decor. The bathroom was comfortable too. It's tucked down an alley, about a 10-minute walk from the main road, with mostly trees, few buildings, and a rough road. I wouldn't recommend walking there at night. The pool and elevator were closed at the time.

It's cheaper than most places in Bali, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are spacious. For budget travelers wanting somewhere inexpensive but fancy, this is a good choice in Bali.
