I could accept some wear and tear at that price, but finding cockroaches was too much. When I raised it, staff said, “They don’t bite.” That misses the point: hygiene, cleanliness, and basic comfort matter. I won’t be back.

It’s a good budget option, around 4-5 mil idr a month, if you want somewhere simple and inexpensive. The rooms have recently had new furniture, which made the place nicer. Each one also has a balcony with a sink, so you could buy a gas stove and make a little kitchen there. It’s away from noisy roads and surrounded by rice fields, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I’d recommend it.

There was a huge praying mantis on the wall when we walked in. The place smelled bad and seemed dirty, so we checked out right away and booked somewhere else.

I’ve stayed here a few times this past year and really like it. The staff are friendly and helpful, and my room has always been clean and neat. Hot water and cold AC, plus a balcony with seating and a sink. There’s also a toaster oven and a portable pot for boiling water. The TV had several working channels. Nearby, there are walk up stores and warungs, and a laundry service that picks up and drops off for free.
