Ratih Bali Hostel

The host was friendly, kind, and helpful. It's a lovely place in a very local area.

The owner is really welcoming, friendly and helpful. The building is lovely and sits on a quieter street. It's easy to find a quick, good meal nearby, and getting a mototaxi around the city is simple.

I especially enjoyed the old-fashioned house, with its traditional Balinese feel, charming little windows, and a small third-floor balcony overlooking the surroundings. The location is handy, with lots of food options close by, and the staff were kind and friendly. There were hanging cages on the first floor, though I couldn't tell what species the birds were. Their soothing songs in the early morning were a lovely way to wake up.

I loved how local the neighborhood felt, with very little tourism around the hostel. The street food nearby is delicious and cheap, and you can walk around without street vendors hassling you the way they do in busier parts of the city, like Kuta. It's a great base for exploring Denpasar away from the crowds. The owner made the hostel feel like home and was very kind and helpful. He helped plan my Bali travels and suggested places to visit and stay. The rooms were clean, the AC worked well, and the single beds were roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was included, along with free tea and coffee. The inside was surprisingly beautiful, and both terraces had nice views. The management was the nicest I've come across. Thanks for a great couple of days.
