Mola Mola Resort Gili Air Lombok

We had a peaceful stay with plenty of island charm, and the location was amazing. The rooms felt clean and safe, and every staff member was kind and helpful. Breakfast was included and filling, with both hot and cold choices. We especially liked the banana pancakes, and the air conditioning worked great. I’d love to come back.

Being right across from the beach was great, with a good restaurant only a few steps away. But the hotel itself felt very outdated. The rooms were old, not clean, and smelled moldy. They need an upgrade. Breakfast was included, though I didn’t think it was worth it.

We had a great four-day stay, and the price was quite reasonable. The rooms were large and much better than we expected, and it was pretty quiet. The hotel’s own beach has turquoise water, with a lovely view that may be better than other spots nearby. It’s also close to the sunset area. The staff were helpful, friendly and kind, always smiling, and the owner was very polite. The omelet was the best we had on our Bali and Lombok trip, and breakfast also included fruit and homemade cake.

Mornings at Mola 2 were especially beautiful. It sits at the island’s only turquoise spot, and although plenty of visitors sunbathed on their towels, hotel guests got priority for the comfortable loungers. The place was quiet, and even the “smallest” room type was spacious, with an en-suite bathroom. Breakfast had eggs cooked your way, noodles, fries, pancakes, fruit, and coffee or tea. The menu snacks were tasty and fairly cheap. The staff and owner were kind and very helpful. We stayed three nights and had a lovely time. We’d definitely choose Mola 2 again when we visit Gili Air.
