Trawangan Nirvana

i had such a great time here and wish i could stay forever. the staff are the best, i love them so much. azis sings beautifully and is an amazing singer, always singing lovely songs all day.

The hotel was quiet and the pool was lovely. It’s around a 5-10 minute walk from the main strip, and the staff were helpful when we hired bikes through them. There’s a shop opposite for water and snacks, but no alcohol there. The Italian place next door is excellent. We stayed three nights over a weekend. The air conditioning was so powerful we woke up cold once or twice, though we were too lazy to adjust or switch it off. The room was small and dated but clean. The linen had holes, and despite asking for twin beds as two friends, we got a ziplock bed pushed together. Our room was serviced only when we asked, the bottled water wasn’t replenished, and we had to request towels because there weren’t any on arrival. I’d probably look elsewhere next time since Gili T has lots of accommodation, though I wouldn’t rule out Nirvana.

We liked it so much that we added about four days to our stay. In all my four months of travelling, I haven’t met hotel staff kinder or friendlier than these. Couldn’t recommend it more!

We stayed a week ago, but the room didn’t look like the photos and didn’t have the view we expected. The staff audit was incredibly unfriendly, like ants. We left straight away. I don’t recommend the staff, bad.
