Mendjangan Residence

The rooms are nice, the parking is good, and the women at reception are pretty. But some facilities don't work. The gym machines were out of order for the whole month and never got fixed. The internet cuts in and out, so it's no good for online work. There's also noise from the call to prayer at 4am.

Getting in requires a card, which makes the security feel quite good. The room has a big bed, a large window, and its own veranda. The bathroom is spacious too, and there's hot water when you need it. I thought the place was pretty amazing.

The room has all the essentials, the Wi-Fi is good, and the staff are friendly. It's a good place to stay for work, with ITC Kuningan, Ambassador Mall, and Lotte mart nearby. My only complaint is that they don't clean the room every day.

The room and building were comfortable enough, but the service from staff and management was poor. I stayed for 2.5 years and complained many times about the unreliable Wi-Fi without getting a prompt solution. Internet access is essential for me, especially during the pandemic. They wanted me to pay extra for a dedicated connection in my room, USD 100 installment and USD 25 per month, even though Wi-Fi was supposed to be included in the monthly rent, as promised at check-in. The receptionist wasn't pleasant to deal with. I stayed as long as I did because I had no time to look elsewhere, and I rarely used the room while I was away on work duties. I don't recommend it. You can find a better place nearby for about the same price, around USD 500/month.
