The staff were friendly and attentive, and the beds were comfortable, with curtains, lights, outlets and lockers. Towels and access cards were supplied, and every room had air conditioning. The hostel sits in the old town, with a metro station only a few minutes away for getting to the airport. There’s a kitchen, sofas, a TV and a pool table in reception. Wi-Fi was good there, though a little disappointing in the rooms. I recommend it.

The guests seemed friendly, with a good mix of nationalities. It was newly painted and the facilities felt new enough. I’d read plenty of bad reviews, but found it a bit cleaner than the average hostel. With so many people sharing a small space, keeping it clean can’t be easy. There’s a front desk open 24 hours, and I’m sure they’d be happy to help. If it’s not your kind of place, there are several other hostels on the same block.

The bathrooms and showers were really clean, and the facilities were decent. But the social atmosphere felt off. When I visited, most guests were men, and it seemed like many locals stayed there semi-permanently. There weren’t many international travelers, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re hoping to meet people at a hostel.

The service was great, especially from the young, handsome Mr Firman. He gave me excellent service and is one of the best people at wonderloft hostel.

The free walking tour was excellent, and it’s why we booked this place. The hostel itself was okay, with a comfy bed but dirty bathrooms.
