Puri Amalia by OYO Rooms

The owner was friendly, helpful and very nice, and the price was very good for the room, location and service. We're near Ketapang Harbour, and the newer buildings had clean, large rooms with AC, a small TV, a cold shower and a terrace out front. There's space to park 3-4 cars. Breakfast was tasty, with a choice of traditional rice dishes or bread and egg, plus tea or coffee. Recommended.

The lady Puri is so friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. This is an amazing guest house, highly recommended if you're heading to Bali or going on the Mount Ijen hike.

The room was clean and reasonably priced, and the location near ketapang port worked well for me and my family. The owner is really friendly and very helpful. There's also a small restaurant next to the lodging run by the owner where you can order food. The room price doesn't include breakfast, and there's a parking area. Nyaman banget. Pelayanan pemilik ok banget. Sangat membantu. Disebelah penginapan ada rumah makan pemilik. Nyaman dan kamar bersih. Ada area parkir juga.

We booked a reasonably priced AC room in Ketapang for one night after arriving there, and breakfast was included. The food was tasty, and they offered free glasses of mineral water at the table. The guest house arranged our Ijen trek for a group of 10 with two guides. Rudy, Yovi and Ilham were friendly, spoke good English and guided us well, helping us on the steep sections. The trek is super steep, so be prepared. A great place to stay for the Ijen trek, definitely worth it.
