Resinda Hotel Karawang, Managed by Padma Hotels

We had a lovely family stay at Resinda Hotel. There are so many facilities and activities, especially for families with young kids, that I'd suggest staying at least two nights. Everyone we met, from the doorman and reception to security, the restaurant, pool, and kids' activities, was friendly and provided great service. At breakfast, Mba Yolanda, Mba Shalma, and mba Febi kept checking whether we needed anything. The kite painting staff were also helpful and great with kids. The facilities were all good. The air conditioning in the room corridor was so cold we could've slept there, haha. I was sorry to hear some staff homes were affected by the karawang flood, but they still came in and looked after guests so well. Mba Shalma was one of them. That says a lot about their professionalism and hospitality. Wishing the staff health and success.

We knew the hotel was run by the infamous Padma, but staying here still exceeded our expectations. We were glad to finally experience the hospitality and facilities. If you want a staycation away from Jakarta that's still within reach, this could be an alternative to Puncak, Sentul, or Bandung.

For such a small city, Karawang, I was surprised last year by how luxurious the hotel was when I stayed here for the first time. Every visit makes me happy. The service is the best I've experienced. Hi Yolanda, Delia, Chintya, and everyone else, you're the best.

The teppanyaki dinner at the Japanese restaurant was delicious. Chef Uha and the staff were so friendly, and all the meat, from Wagyu to chicken, was juicy and full of flavor. Throughout our one-night stay at Resinda, the staff were kind and polite, whether at reception, breakfast, or the pool. They even remembered my children's names and would check in whenever we looked unsure, asking if they could help. I'd definitely return if I get the chance.
