The location is great if you want to be away from the city center. There’s a rice field view, and the fields are just a short walk away. You can also walk to several convenience stores. The room has a nice kitchen with all the utensils, and the staff clean well and are very helpful. The owner is friendly and easy to talk to. It’s set back from the main road, which felt safe for the kids, so I’d especially recommend it for families.

I lived here for nearly a year and moved out yesterday. I had both cottages professionally inspected and found five types of mold and termites. For months I was extremely critical about these problems, and I’m very upset that the owner, PePe, didn’t care enough to address them. I strongly recommend finding somewhere else. This is toxic. When you post publicly, Pepe threatens to call the police.

One of the most reasonably priced places I’ve seen in Ubud. It’s beautiful and comfortable, tucked well away from the road so it stays quiet. The staff are friendly and will help with anything you ask.

We spent two months here and really enjoyed the stay. The five-house setup gave us privacy without feeling isolated, and there were other families with children around, which we appreciated. It felt very safe and spacious, everyone was super friendly, and we met lovely travelers who became friends. The pool is huge and the rice field views are amazing. It’s just a few minutes from central Ubud, and we rented scooters from the owner. The internet wasn’t great, though I believe they’re increasing the bandwidth. The kitchen could use more equipment; it was very basic, with a few plates and cutlery and a couple of pots and pans in poor condition. Cleaning was basic too, mostly changing laundry and sweeping or mopping, without cleaning the bathroom or kitchen. Still, it was just the right spot for us.
