Beji Ayu Homestay

We ended up staying eight nights, extending our visit along the way. Because all the double rooms were booked, we had to move rooms once. Staff were really nice and did some basic cleaning, and we appreciated getting a second duvet when we asked. We could have breakfast on our balcony, and the fridge was handy for preparing some of our own food. The room was spacious and mostly clean. Air conditioning worked well, though it was noisy. The shower had good pressure and dependable hot water. The TV picture wasn't great but was usable, and the pillow was too big and hard for our taste, though manageable. We rented a scooter right at the hotel for IDR 60,000, the cheapest one, and it was essential. The beach is quite far, with only a few restaurants and a mini market within walking distance, so you'll need a scooter or driver. Noise was the main downside: dogs in the neighboring building sometimes barked loudly, but mostly the main road was bothersome. If you're sensitive to noise, it could be an issue. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and very good value for the price.

The staff are super friendly, and the place is quiet at night despite being a short distance from the busy area. It's an old house, but the people running it have kept it really well. The room was spacious and equipped with thoughtful little things like a kettle and cups. It was old-fashioned but very clean, including the toilet, and cleaner than any hotel I've stayed in in Bali. This is one of the best homestays I've stayed at. I'd highly recommend it for either a short visit or a longer stay.

The rooms are comfortable and the Wi-Fi works great. The owner is humble and pleasant, and the staff are great too. You can hire a scooter at a very reasonable rate. Thanks for the service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We spent five nights here, and the rooms were spacious, the staff super accommodating, and the drinks on offer very cheap. After checkout they let us leave our bags at the Homestay while we wandered around to pass the time before our flight. The air conditioning worked really well once we angled it right. Staff made up the rooms even when we didn't want them to, so a do not disturb sign would be useful. We also found a few slight stains on top of the bed sheets, though nothing too serious. The power went out daily, but staff could reset the breaker when we asked. The place is right by the main road, making it easy to get transport, and you can walk around from there too. It's a lovely, good-value place to stay, and the staff are really nice and helpful.
