Apple Villa & Suite Seminyak

The sambal mata with the ayam panggang was the standout for me. I lived in Bali for 4 years, and this is the best sambal mata I’ve ever had. I went back for that dish several times, though the restaurant menu is fairly small. There’s a good mix of Western and Indonesian food at very reasonable prices, and a cute little cafe out front for good coffee, juice, and cocktails. I stayed for 6 days and had a wonderful time. The staff were cheerful, welcoming, and helpful. My room and bathroom stayed spotless, the King bed was comfortable, and the a/c worked well. I was glad to find a large, very cold fridge, and the room safe was handy. There are CCTV cameras everywhere, which made it feel very safe. The pool sparkled and the surrounding area was clean too. I’d happily come back to Apple Villa & Suites, Seminyak.

The place was peaceful, and the staff were all great. I only spent a few days at the Apple Villa, but trainee waiter Gali was especially kind and really stuck in my memory.

The mattress was lovely and I slept well during my 3 nights there, despite the horrible pillows. My room was spacious and quiet, and the hotel is in a good location. Some of the facilities are looking a bit weathered.

Everything looked well cared for, and the place was both beautiful and clean. Highly recommend it.
