Jambuluwuk Oceano Seminyak Hotel

The rooftop pool cocktails were refreshing, and breakfast was lovely. Service at the restaurant was superb, with Miko, Adi and the rest of the team taking great care of us. Check-in was easy and friendly, and customer service was outstanding throughout the trip. The location is fantastic and everything felt great for the price. It would have been nice to have a bit of shade upstairs.

Seminyak was a great base, with everything close by. After a fun day out, it was nice to relax in one of the pools. The service and breakfast were amazing. We’ll be back before long, thank you!

The rooms were nice, the beds comfortable, and the facilities and staff were great. The bathrooms had a bit too much mold, though there was no smell, so they seemed to be keeping things sanitary. Having pools open 24/7 was a real plus. The hotel is centrally located and it’s easy to get around seminyak.

I stayed for seven nights. The deluxe room with a balcony was reasonably priced, and both the ground floor and rooftop pools were okay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was welcome fruit in the room. We also got 20% discounts at the restaurant and for massages. They provided a brush, toothpaste, comb, shaving blade and cream, and slippers. Seminyak Square and the beach are a 15-minute walk away, or there’s a shuttle twice a day, at 10 in the morning and 6 in the evening. There were some real downsides. The kids club seemed to exist in name only. It was in a dark basement, with no staff or activities for children. Water leaked from the shower under the bathtub and spread across the floor. Breakfast followed the same buffet pattern with little or no change, which got boring after three or four days. I wouldn’t recommend the Indian food, as it wasn’t good to taste or well cooked. The property seems old, and I’m not sure why it’s called five-star. It didn’t feel particularly good or particularly bad. We received a complimentary dinner and massage, but the massage felt very ordinary and didn’t leave me feeling good. The three-course dinner, with one appetizer, one main and one dessert, was also ordinary and the menu was very restrictive. Not good.
