The Yubi Boutique Villas Seminyak

We’ve already stayed at Yubi Boutique Villas three times, and we’re looking forward to going back. On this visit, from 30/4 - 9/5/26, Yuda and his team were friendly, helpful, and quick to handle any requests. Yuda especially made us feel welcome and at home. The villas are right in the heart of Seminyak, with everything we needed an easy walk away. After our morning walks, shopping, and massages, it was always lovely to come back to a clean, fresh, inviting villa. They’re serviced daily, and we were delighted with the experience again. We highly recommend Yubi Boutique Villas.

For an affordable private stay in Seminyak, this villa offers solid value. It’s close to everything, and the spacious one-bedroom layout, warm private pool, daily breakfast delivery, and reliable air-conditioning made our stay comfortable. The staff were very friendly too. There are some signs of wear, and the cleanliness could be better. We saw rat droppings on the pool bed daily, and there were marks on the sheets. The shower pressure was average, the kitchenette was basic, with no cooking utensils and tiny pans, and breakfast sometimes arrived lukewarm. You can hear faint club music after 11 pm. It didn’t disturb me, though light sleepers might notice it. My husband sleeps very lightly, but earplugs worked for him. Apart from that, it was quite peaceful and quiet. This is a good option if you want privacy, a convenient location, and value, and don’t mind a few quirks. It may not suit someone looking for proper luxury.

We stayed for 6 nights from the 19/11/25. The part that affected me most was the sleep: the room isn’t fully mosquito-proof, and bugs seem to get in, possibly under the door. It was too hot to sleep with the covers on, but without them I got bitten, which made for some bad nights. That matters a lot to me, and it’s why I gave three stars. Some barrier spray or insect repellent might help. There were also quite a few rats. We saw one in the main hallway heading toward the villas and another in our courtyard. They came around regularly and left droppings on the seating area. I’ve posted a photo. A sick-looking stray cat also came into the courtyard and wouldn’t leave until my wife lured it out the front door with food. The pool had a big leak and was topped up with a garden hose, which wasn’t a major issue but left me wondering where the water was going. The bedsheets often had quite a few stains, though I didn’t take photos. They didn’t refill the minibar automatically. We could have asked, so I don’t hold that too much against them, but it’s worth knowing. Breakfast came with the package, but it was cold each morning. We could have raised it with staff, but it didn’t bother us too much. There were good things too. The people are lovely, the service is great, and the room is nice, if a bit old. Everything worked and was comfortable. We had our own private pool and a little place away from the city bustle. There’s plenty of food and shopping within walking distance, and the beach is walkable too. For lighter sleepers, there’s a nightclub next door that sounds like constant thunder. It was fine for us because I brought earplugs and my wife sleeps heavily. I’d call the cleanliness about 6/10. They came in each day with fresh towels and bedding, which was nice, but the cleaning didn’t feel thorough. I’m sure they deep clean between guests. Overall, it’s a good budget place if you don’t expect luxury. I’d stay again, but I’d talk with them beforehand about cleaning and food expectations, which I think would improve the experience.

We spent three days here at the end of a ten-day trip. The staff were terrific, and we loved having our own pool and air-conditioning. The villas are clean and well looked after, though dated and in need of some upgrades. They’re right in the middle of Seminyak’s tourist strip.
